My name is Jenny and when you sit in my chair at Shear Happiness I want you to fall in love with your hair all over again!
Welcome to my business beautiful! My name is Jenny, originally from small town North Dakota and am now serving our Bismarck-Mandan community.
As a mom of 2, I know exactly how important it is to feel special, pampered, and beautiful in a relaxing ambiance. I've designed my studio suite salon experience in a way that will leave you feeling uplifted, relaxed and more confident from the moment you walk through the door.
I've been a stylist for 18+ years and have never been more in love with my clients and craft. I specialize in Brunette Dimensional Color and Gray Coverage Color and take great pride in the fact I take part in at least 2 color formulation, advanced color formulation, and/or advancement classes a year. Adding to my education and confidence to give you YOUR best color as we set the goal and make the plan to get you there.
While most stylist offer a good first visit and solid maintenance care thereafter, I see my role as your stylist a bit differently. I work together with my clients to create a long term hair care plan with the education and tools needed to ensure their cut, color, and style look great always. Cutting out the boredom or the stuck in a rut feeling. I'll be checking in throughout the year to see if any new issues have come up and we'll work through them together so you can fall in love with your hair all over again.

When I'm not in the salon I'm often channeling my inner scientist and playing outside with my kiddos. We love to go to our favorite local spots such as the Heritage Center and the Gateway To Science along with all parks and Zoo's here in ND, and can help you with all the tips and tricks of keeping your hair looking amazing out in the elements.
